Hold me stronger

Hold me stronger depicts the wish to drown into the arms of a man. This piece depicts a feeling of helplessness and the need to feel comforted. On the lid we see two sides of a woman, illustrating the contrast between her outer appearance and her inner pain. On one side she wears an elaborate gown, whilst the other side shows her wearing a simpler black dress with two arms around her. Different characters are depicted around the vase who all appear distressed and wish to be comforted.
