"Insatiable" - Nina Murashkina's first exhibition in Dnipropetrovsk Ya Gallery Art Center. The project visualizes an experience of privacy perception of the artist who is inspired by her contemporaries' works - Louise Bourgeois and Annette Messager. Building a close connection between objects, painting and collages, the author supplements the exhibition display with her own memoirs that make the space of "Insatiable" more compressed and concentrated.
According to Nina Murashkina, in the project "everything begins with a Dolly - a grotesque self-portrait installation that looks like a centipede which goes in another autobiographic object - "Insatiable". Allegorical paintings and a series of collages "Rain of Black Ovals" became a counterpoint for displayed installations.
Alike dialogue between a plane and volume of paintings speaks for the artist's desire to rub the body of her own night dreams and feel their muscularity in reality. Working with nylon and capron, feathers and images from the childhood in the form of dolls, the painter finds her personal affiliation with their numerous textures, so the pure essence of complete femininity and insatiability becomes visible through.
